We have just got in the Beta110 H4 V2.0 Carbon Fibre Frame Kit from Diatone and this is a short review of the product to give you an idea what this frame is all about.

Key Features

  • Lightweight
The first thing you really notice about this frame as soon as you pick it up is the weigh, or more appropriately, the lack of it. This is an extremely light frame that weighs just 8.5g without other equipment; pretty handy.
  • Small But Sturdy
The main reason for the incredibly small weigh is of course the size of the frame (110mm wheelbase) but also due to the thickness; it is only 1mm thick. It is, however, constructed from carbon fibre and so can take some knocks.
  • Funky Design
This the version 2.0 of the Beta 110 frame and so the design has been modified somewhat. We now have longer rear arms than the front arms. The rear arms measure 98mm across and the front only 72mm. This is for increased stability which is useful in a micro quad such as this. This frame also allows you to simply ‘plug’ in the motors and you can secure them with the rubber motor grommets provided in the kit. Handy.
  • Last But Not Least..
It’s cheap. Unmanned Tech sell this kit for just Β£8.99 and so you really can’t go wrong!
